Goodbye Portfolios
Today we updated our website and removed the references to using Prevue as a portfolio tool. The reason being that we’re discontinuing this feature…
The portfolio feature was a tool launched earlier this year, and allowed Prevue users to turn their un-protected projects into a clean and professional portfolio like this. This feature wasn’t as popular as we would have hoped, and is a slight departure from our core values.
The Prevue app exists solely for designers, illustrators, photographers, interior designers and other creative types to share their work privately with clients. We’re staying true to that, and are working to make the app better and more useful for you - especially those of you who use Prevue as an internal tool at design agencies.
If you already have a Prevue portfolio - worry not, we’ll still honour that and your URL will remain unchanged. However, for the rest of you - you will notice that ‘Portfolio’ no longer exists in your sidebar. In the long term, we suggest that if you’re looking to create a portfolio - you set your sights on Cargo, Krop or The Loop.
